The Nashville Numbering System is extremely important because if you go to music school, recording sessions, jam sessions, band practice…..etc. you will need to know the Nashville Numbering System because this is how Bluegrass and even Country Music is studied. I had the privilege to go to South Plains College to study for my Bluegrass Degree and the Nashville Numbering System is the only method of study used.
