This volume will not
lecture about “good” or “bad” playing
habits, nor will it be concerned specifically with
how anyone else “does it.” There are many books on
the market which already have a pleasing amount of
songs, licks and phrases. It is assumed that you
have had access to a good instructor and have your
favorite players. It is also presumed that you
have a basic grasp of the three-finger picking
technique. It is advised that the prospective
student review the three basic major and minor
chord forms before proceeding. These basic major
and minor chord forms are essential.
